Action Directe are back for what promises to be an extremely important 2008 for the original commiecore commandos.

Troika, the band's long awaited new album, is currently in the heat of the studio melting pot and will almost certainly be the most original UK industrial album of the year. Moving on from the punk heat generated by their output since 2005, Troika sees a darker, more layered edge to their trademark industrial steam hammering, as well extra mod cons such as ambient sounds capes, instrumental variety and collages of samples sounds. The effect is a bleaker, colder, deeper and darker sound than anything the band has attempted before.

Action Directe can confirm that an EP of remixes featuring the three tracks 'Slavs to The Rhythm', 'Line In The Sand' and 'Total Kazakhstan' will be released in April in advance of the album. UK EBM messiahs Uberbyte are already confirmed as one of the elite group of remixers that Action Directe will employ.
